Why the date matters
Deadlines are rolling, not fixed
Most Hong Kong firms don't wait for their stated deadline before they start deciding. They read applications as they arrive and begin making offers while the form is still open. By the date printed on the page, several firms have already filled the places they wanted to fill.
Applying on the closing date means applying after most of the shortlist is already gone.
The tracker's job is to show you which firms have already opened, so you decide when to apply instead of finding out later that the decision was made without you.
