Why the date matters
Check both the deadline and the review policy
Some firms assess applications on a rolling basis, while others review them after the deadline. A closing date is still a deadline: note the time zone, allow time for any online assessment, and follow the firm's current instructions.
Apply when your application is ready, with time to spare before the closing date.
