What does H.M. Chan & Co actually do?
The firm describes itself as a Hong Kong corporate practice specialising in cross-border transactions, capital markets and private equity. Its published practices also cover M&A, investment funds, wealth management, regulation and compliance, general corporate work and a China practice.
It has entered into an association with Shihui Partners, a PRC firm, following approval by the Law Society of Hong Kong. The association gives the boutique a more direct cross-border China platform while the Hong Kong firm remains the applicant-facing employer.
